Active ICT for making eLearning & VLE resources
This course has been popular for 6 or 7 years as “Creating digital resources” for a number of NC subjects – MFL, Geography, History, RE, Science.
In the last year I have re-branded and updated the course with a focus on creating simple ICT resources for eLearning and VLE’s.
On this course you will learn how to create a number of resources that you can :
- use with a multimedia projector
- use with an Interactive Whiteboard
- place on a website, Blog or VLE / Cloud
- offer as student eLearning activities.
They are multimedia ideas:
- using Virtual reality panoramas
- managing photos and videos, and capturing them
- Using and personalising GoogleEarth – GE tours
- using a web camera in the classroom
- creating or editing audio files – perhaps for Podcasts
- copying resources from the Internet – eg YouTube videos
- Hot spot resources – virtual visits.
- Blogs, Blogging and Wikis.
You need to bring a laptop. I will supply a booklet [paper or PDF] and CD Rom of resources and software.
