Making Videos – teachers/students
Teachers use video in the classroom to illustrate teaching points, especially from YouTube. Teachers like PE teachers want to be able to video students and playback frame by frame – performance analysis software like Quintic can do this. Other teachers [and students] want to make a record of their visits and fieldwork and need to edit video and produce a film, either to put on their VLE, Blogsite or ‘project’ to an audience in school.
I can focus a day on making videos with students, and the editing and uploading the video. I have a ECRB check [may'10] and can therefore work with you and your students in school.
I can supply a practical course according to your needs
- downloading and editing video clips to produce teaching resources
- Video for PE teachers – including use of Quintic
- Video workshops for all teachers who want to make small educational movies, edit them and place them on disc or computer.
- Capturing You Tube movies – perhaps embedding them in PowerPoints
- Making slideshows – still pictures in a movie format
Generally you need to supply a laptop and I bring the software.
We can have a fruitful practical workshop day which will inspire you to do more.
