Mac Users

Most of my courses have delegates with PC’s – about 95% I should say – but occasionally a Mac user turns up.

I have a G4 and a Macbook so I can support Mac Users but most courses use software / freeware which is PC – the Mac equivalent often costs a fortune.

Digital Photography – I use Photoshop elements on the day and if you have a mac version of that, you’ll be ok.

Audio – Audacity is the same for PC and Mac, and free. Just download a free copy from the web.

Powerpoint – this comes with Office which most PC users have and some Mac users have. The work we do could easily be done with Mac Open Office – free

Video – we use Movie maker and you will user iMovie. They are different but the process of making / editing a video is the same.

Mac users will fully benefit if they have dual Mac/PC operating systems.
